Marvin came to Azria Health Montclair wheelchair bound after breaking his tibia due after a fall down a flight of forty stairs. Staff had to assist him with all essential needs. Through motivation and determination, Marvin finally earned his ticket home! He personally didn't want to leave the staff and other residents, but missed his apartment. Marvin has been such a positive influence on our residents and has become a friend to so many. He states, "I am grateful for everything Azria Health Montclair has done for me." We are so proud of Marvin for achieving his goal to return... "My mother entered the Azria Health Montclair facility in June to continue her rehabilitation and recovery from COVID-19. Her battle with COVID had left her in a very weakened condition - she wasn't able to stand or walk, and she had difficulty performing even minor self-care tasks. The staff at Azria Health Montclair took excellent care of my mother while the physical therapists and occupational therapists worked with mom to rebuild her strength and endurance. Mom and our family could not be any happier at the level of care that she received during her stay. As a result of her... The people here are really special; not only do they take care of you medically, but they also take the time to be your friend and be there on a personal level for you." This is a great facility ran by a very caring company that rates it’s staff highly. I know the new administrator personally & based in my 35 years in this industry, I can say without a doubt that the new administrator is top notch and really cares for her residents wanting them to have “The Best Care Anywhere” attitude. I would not hesitate to put my loved ones under her and her staff’s care. And that would go for me too when the time comes. I would rate it 6 Stars if it was possible.
