Kyle Overmyer is an amazing person. He has gone over and beyond to be there for my family. Not only did he get my son into rehab by helping us ever step of the way, but I have reached out to him numerous times after my son was finished with rehab, he has always answered me immediately and helped me out. Dreamlike Recovery has set the standard for addiction treatment in Western Pennsylvania and the Pittsburgh area. The staff is a committed group who take the time and go the extra mile to get to the root of one's addiction. This is not a place that treats everyone as if all addicts are the same, or believes that "once an addict always an addict." Their individualized treatment has one steadfast belief, that being that while everyone has obstacles in life, if left untreated they become your excuse, and then ultimately your prison. I couldn't make a better decision for myself or a loved one or friend on where to begin the road to recovery other than DreamLife.

This was my first experience with addiction and recovery, so I didn’t know what to expect. I reached out to them for help and a few hours later, Derek was there to pick me up. The liaisons were incredible, especially Derek. He stayed in regular contact with my family so I could focus on recovery. Anytime I needed something, the liaisons were compassionate and tried to help. My therapist, David, held helpful group meetings and individual sessions that prepared me for discharge. The reason I didn’t give Dreamlife five stars is because staff communication was not great and it led to a lot of unnecessary conflict and confusion. There were also several maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. I also think they need to offer more healthy options for meals. But, the staff more than made up for the other hiccups. They literally saved my life.

Although my son was unable to be admitted to Dreamlife because of insurance barriers, Diana worked tirelessly, more than once, to get my son the help he needed even though there was no benefit to her or her program. I am forever grateful for her help as my son celebrates one year clean next month. They can recover!
