I normally do not review facilities- but this one I just need to say something- I am a traveling manager and work in various facilities within the company, when I came to Egret it felt like home. I love traveling, and love what I do- but Deb Stone and the rest of the managerial staff has cultivated such a loving and supportive atmosphere for employees and residents I really thought about staying full time despite the long commute. What they have in this building is only something you can get from years of experience in maneuvering around difficult situations in long term care and always choosing what is best for the residents -and staff despite it being the harder path. You can walk into the building and smell that it’s clean, and the residents are take care of, you can hear the business office laughing as they help residents and go about their daily tasks. The new Director of Nursing is with out a doubt AMAZING- she’s always on the floor helping- assisting- monitoring, making herself visible and accessible to residents and staff that need her for anything. Activities are always going on and the residents are always having a blast. Not just kinda fun- like real fun. The meals are really good- and not nursing home good- I’m talking they look beautiful, smell delicious, and sometimes I’m really jealous of what they are getting. I can go on all day- but you can look at my review history- I never review the buildings I help work in- but this one is just on a whole new level and I couldn’t keep it to myself. ❤️ I would happily put my loved ones here if I ever needed to knowing this management team was in charge.
