About Psychiatry

Our board certified psychiatrists provide psychiatry assessment, evaluation and treatment for individuals with a variety of mental health needs. Psychiatrists are medical physicians who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental illnesses including substance abuse and addiction. They are uniquely qualified to assess both the mental and physical aspects of psychological conditions. Because they are medical doctors they may also determine if there is a need for medication to restore imbalances in body chemistry that are often contribute to your mental health and well-being.

Integrated Behavioral Health Services

Working as a team, an Integrated Behavioral Health Provider (IBHP) and your Primary Care Provider (PCP) consider the physical, behavioral, social and emotional aspects of your health and help you determine a course of action that will work best for you.

Fort HealthCare’s IBHPs are psychologists or licensed clinical social workers that understand the connection between the mind, body and spirit, as well as the impact of these areas on a person’s health.  They can help you and your PCP develop treatment plans for smoking cessation, unhealthy eating, physical inactivity, alcohol use, or other necessary lifestyle changes. The IBHP can also help you to develop skills to effectively manage social, emotional or behavioral difficulties.

Don’t go here unless u want to be demonized and belittled they’ll throw religion in your face & everything. The doctors don’t have a clue about mental health & are mean & vindictive to patients. I was so happy and relieved to get out, I go to 16th street behavioral health in Waukesha now & love them. At Fort I was also told to “tough it out” and was unable to get refills on time, by nurse Becky, to ice the cake. Fudela should be investigated, I often left his office in tears and cried the whole way home, or go to Dr haggard at the county building if u can, Ive heard great things about him

I want to preface my statement by saying I feel Dr Fudala was a skilled and caring clinician in helping my son. I Called The office to get my sons prescription renewed. Was told. They wouldn’t renew his prescription, a low-dose of anti-depressant, until he had a face to face with Dr Fudala. Frustrating, but understandable. The soonest they could get him in was two weeks. I notified them that his prescription would be running out soon. They agreed to call in the prescription as long as a face-to-face was scheduled. They said it would be in by the next morning. Fast forward, four days later still had not called it in. My son out of meds by this time. I called the office, politely and calmly explained my frustration with the poor follow-through. Notified her I wished to cancel the appointment and Iseek services for my son elsewhere. Receptionist Offered no apology or recourse. Simply stated “OK I will cancel the appointment.”
