As Courtney’s time at Junction House is coming to an end, we have mixed emotions. We are so grateful that she was able to continue her recovery in such a special place. As parents, it was very comforting to drop her at Junction House. We appreciate the dedication you both have to make Junction House different from other recovery homes, a beautiful, spotless, well run home in a lovely area. You were patient, understanding, strict but not controlling. Requiring residents to contribute to the running of the home, cooking, cleaning, working and attending meetings, showed and allowed Courtney to learn to live successfully outside the rehab bubble. The independence, structure, direction and knowledge has allowed Courtney to see that there is life without alcohol. You have showed her that she can live a productive, meaningful and happy life with this illness. Junction House provided me with structure, accountability, and a support group from Day 1. The facility is impeccable, but the emphasis on honesty, open mindedness and willingness helped me mature into a responsible and considerate individual. Kiki and Debbi were put into my life as instructors and sometimes I was hard-headed, but eventually the lessons paid off and I learned humility and gained reasons to live. I work a program today that allows me to live by helping others, which is the treatment for this disease. Grateful and proud to be a Junction House alumni.

I have lived at Junction House for the last three and a half months. Debbie, the owner has elevated my 12 step recovery program in more ways than one. Here at junction house we are guided and loved in a safe and calm environment with healthy structure and communal living. With our home group attached next door, we have every opportunity to succeed in a giving and loving community. While we are encouraged to gain new life skills and learn a sense of accountability and responsibility in and outside of our recovery house, we are also guided in being our creative, loving and authentic selves. I feel very grateful to have been invited here and plan to stay for as long as I can.

Since moving into Junction house three months ago, I have had an amazing experience. I am so grateful to be living in a home with such wonderful support while in early recovery. It holds such a tremendous and caring program. Debbie as well as our house manager, not only guides us through how to take action following treatment, but also how to attain a happy and healthy sober life.

I’m so blessed to be a part of Junction House! Living here has made my recovery so amazing. The girls I live with are like sisters to me and they help me every step of the way. The AA group next door is like home! I never thought recovery could be so beautiful. Junction house has given me a life that is worth living, and taught me the skills I need to live a clean and happy life.

Our daughter left Junction house after being there for almost 9 months. She got the needed support and structure from the house and Debbie and recently just got her own apartment. We were so glad that our journey led us to Junction house which is beautiful and she loved the fact that AA meetings were right next-door. We are not from Pennsylvania but she decided to get an apartment near the house for the recovery support system she now has from them. Thank you so very much!!!

I personally stayed at Junction House and had a great experience! I stayed at other recovery homes and this was absolutely the best home in regards to quality and owners that really care. I read the bad reviews and cant believe they said such things because that is not how Debbi & Kiki run their homes. Its usually the people that are asked to leave for not following the structure or rules of the house or they relapsed that probably leave the bad reviews. The owners had put so much effort and love into my own recovery and Im glad I stayed 5 months and happy to say that I am still sober. I still go to AA meetings, still work with my sponsor which is also part of the house rules and was instilled in me that it is needed to continue my sobriety. If you are looking into sober living, this is the only house I recommend!
