Danvers CAB saved my life. Sure it might not be the most comfortable sleeping arrangements, and food might suck. But it was exactly what I needed to experience to get and stay clean. The only employee I remember was a case worker named Bob that was extremely caring ak the time out of his day to keep my family updated on my progress. I am forever grateful for Danvers CAB!

I went there about 5 years ago so not sure if much has changed but when I went for like the 6th or 7th time I appreciated the place cuz I was sick n tired of being sick n tired! Tired of chasing heroin and tired of being sick. I can't say anything about the methadone clinic cuz I didn't go for that. There is no quick or painless way to get clean so it's going to be a miserable time but so worth it. I loved the staff, liked the food. There was a woman cook/chef idk but she was dynamite! Especially with what they have to work with. Speaking of, the staff has us to work with. Miserable,suicidal,mental cases! Not the most pleasant people at times. I believe the neg. ratings are from the younger people possibly spoiled? Who knows. IF YOU SERIOUSLY WANT TO GET CLEAN THIS PLACE IS A GREAT START! GET THE FURTHER TREATMENT! IT WORKS IF YOU WANT IT TO! Be honest with yourself about your character defects and work to fix them. THEY WILL HELP YOU GET TO THE BOTTOM OF WHY WE USE! ABSTINENCE IS NOT ENUFF! YOU DIDN'T BECOME AN ADDICT OVERNIGHT, NOR WILL YOU BECOME HEALTHY AGAIN OVERNIGHT! YOU ARE WORTH IT! THEY CAN AND WILL HELP YOU! TRY IT THEIR WAY CUZ YOUR WAY SUCKS! good luck!

This location is by far the worst location. The director, Nurses and doctors Dont care for you at all. They only care for the bottom line and how much money they can charge you. I have been with this clinic for 10 years now and I was a Level 6 Take home user and I have been doing EVERYTHING right from the start. And this location lied and said they called me to do a surprise call back. What this means is since I have been with the clinic for so long I have earned the right to take the medication home so I would not have to come in everyday. A call back is when the clinic calls you and said you have to come back the following day so they can count the meds I have left. But they never called me. As I was talking to other people that have been with this clinic for years they all said the same thing to me. They all NEVER got called. And this clinic took away everyones "Take Home Meds" and are making us start all over again. I have worked very hard for 10 years to do everything right and this clinic staff is TRASH. They are rude and don't care about anyone. I have asked to see the doctor many times and its been years since they let me see him. The director needs to be investigated because what they are doing is wrong, and should be a crime. I am filing a complaint with the state of MA and to Lehey, but I dont think it will go anywhere but I will still try. If you need help please stay away from this location. We are people and they treat us like TRASH.

Awful place awful people the new director Nichole dose not care about any patients they make people stand outside only allowing a few at a time in the building even if it’s freezing out they only let everyone in if it’s under 18 degrees Other than that it’s not their problem Everything is not their problem and they don’t help you if a emergency comes up and u can’t make a group it’s put at a refusal they do everything they can to get you kicked off most employees do not belong working in this field they are not educated enough in addiction to do so I was working full time over 40 hours a week but some how I was supposed to attend groups and meeting at 10 am Monday-Friday I need my job to support my family but again they say not their problem They never answer the phone it’s difficult to get a person on the phone Please find another Clinc because this place will only hurt your recovery
