I am grateful to all of the staff at Laurel Hill Nursing Center. During this time of COVID, there were a lot of questions. The nursing team helped give me information and support for getting my vaccination. Kristy, the RCM, helped make sense of it all to get my vaccinations. The nurses were so good with my medications and taking care of my wound care; they answered all my questions, so I didn’t feel like I was in the dark on my healing process. That has brought me a lot of comfort. The Rehab team has been incredible for all they could do with my weight-bearing status. Jacinda always goes above and beyond when working with me in therapy. Laurel Hill has been a welcoming place to recover and a place of great support. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a great place to recover!

NO MATTER WHAT DO NOT LEAVE A LOVED ONE HERE...When my Mom showed up (after an intense surgery), staff did not know who she was, asked her to explain her situation like she was coming off the street; they weren't expecting her, and didn't have her pills available. They made no effort to communicate with the hospital she departed from to find out information about her and how they could help her. She was in a lot of pain still, and needed care, but a doctor didn't see her for a week. Nor a physical therapist. A staff member, her first night there, told her to "tough it out" , handed her an aspirin and a heating pad; within hours, she was in the emergency room. Absolutely terrible communication at the upper management level, too. It was like they didn't care at all about my Mom or her needs. The facility seemed understaffed, and the workers seemed overworked and underprepared for handling patients. They couldn't give clear answers to direct questions about my Mom's condition and next steps. It was like they had no idea what they were doing. Bottom line, every day was a nightmare, and we decided to pull my mom out of there because we feared she would die in this facility. She was noticeably worse when we picked her up - much worse - and so I think we saved her life by pulling her out of Lauren Hill. I hope they read this, and realize their incompetence causes stress and anxiety, at the worst time in families' lives.

Very rude and unprofessional they treat their residents cruelly and are impossible to communicate with and Robin is the worst to try to talk to she's unprofessional with no bedside manner and just flat out rude I've been trying to check on my client all day and staff us telling me he isn't there but won't tell my if he's OK and while I was on the call Robin took the phone from another resident that was trying to get someone's attention and scolded him like a child I do not recommend this facility whatsoever
