Longwood has the most caring caregivers! My mom was a patient there in these trying times and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Thank you for helping mom!

My aunt is a resident at Longwood Health and Rehab. She could not be happier, we could not be happier. The staff goes above and beyond to care for the residents. Everything is clean and safe, no smells. There is no division in the care, administrators and the nursing team jump in if there is a resident in any need. The staff advocates for the residents from medical, financial and spiritual. The residents that choose to are taken to a church near the facility, and several other churches come to Longwood Health for inbound residents .The resident's social needs are a priority with a full schedule of activities. Family are always welcome to join in the fun. My aunt's favorite is bingo. The first time we played there was a vision impaired gentleman playing. I realized the activities staffer had taken a picture of the gentleman's card and was directing him where to cover the number. This says everything about Longwood Health. I love the family feel, the staff takes the time to get to know you. We enjoy spending time at the facility because they are so accommodating to family. Like my aunt says, "Everyone is nice. It's beautiful here."

I am only giving them 2 stars because there are a few people who were trying their best to provide services. The biggest concern there is the communication!!!!! One person says one thing, another person say something else, the 2 nursing shifts weren’t on the same page. My father just left last Wednesday and I found out that they did not set up any after care. I was told my the case worker (Michelle) that, she would make sure everything was taken care of. She did not provide any orders to the home care company so, he can receive home health care. They were not issuing my fathers insulin correctly, we had to talk to multiple people about that. One of the nurses did not replace a cap for my fathers IV and it caused his IV line to bleed out. They were giving him a shower and a nurse wrote daily showers on his board. No one said why he couldn’t have a shower until, I spoke to Jessica. The doctor there said, she wanted him to have his follow up appointment. My fathers surgeon stated that, he can take showers and should have been able to take them. I will never send him back there and I will visiting them some, to straighten a few people. Jessica tried her best, Tasha (nurse) and 2 other morning nurses (morning shift) we great.

When you walk into the building you feel the warmth from the staff immediately. The care, compassion and love they have is what makes this one of my favorite rehab facilities in the area. It’s a pleasure to work with Tracey and the entire team. I would feel confident placing a love one here knowing they would receive great care.
