I've been a client of this facility for 6 years. They are my family. Clients AND staff. I cannot count how many times Jackie the office manager or Karen the program director have gone above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. Karen heads the place but she is the most down-to-earth woman. And her caring is not an act. Alison, a clinician, is another superstar. I've always felt I could tell her anything with no judgement. I see these folks as friends. They have had their ups and downs as any place does, but i go well out of my way to stay with this location rather than somewhere closer to home.

The only reason why I’m giving this one star is because I can’t give it zero. These places do not care about your well-being or your recovery or your mental health they offer zero backup programs after completing their courses and just recommend you to go to meetings once they have extended your insurance that’s it they say there’s nothing more that they can do leaving a lot of people attending their meetings kind of feeling like there’s No where to go or know where to look for advice after completing their courses. Places like this also expect people to tiptoe around their schedules and their availabilities and if you cannot make it then you will be removed, chr has a much better program and they are still terrible too. Connecticut treatment centers are not treatment centers they are you are an addict and you always will be centers.

The only reason that I am giving it two stars is because of the young adult therapist Allison. Who is worth 5 stars. Were it not for her I would be hard pressed to give it one star. The staff there care but are completely inept when it comes to following through on that. The communication with clients is nonexistent. They treat their adult clients with more respect than they do their young adults. Who are little more than children to them. If you are someone who needs stability in your care, and/or are under the age of thirty. I would not recommend seeking aid here.
