They have an amazing physical therapy and occupational therapy program. The team is truly dedicated to the well being of their clients! They have some employees that go out of their way to help you, answer questions and really try to accommodate the clients and their families! Nurses were nice. The negative, you have some employees that are simply there for their pay check and could care less about the clients or the families, or at least make you feel that way. There is no organization, after going through 4 or 5 people you may be directed to the person you need, to ask specific questions. Upon arriving we had a pleasant meeting with the administrator which eased out doubts. But we were given no further instructions on how the facility works, what our loved one needed to bring, could or could not do. Felt left in the dark most of the time. When you experience something new, its nice to have important information brought to your attention. Write your name on EVERYTHING, you take in. Clothes particularly seem to disappear into thin air. The front desk needs to work on manners and politeness. We were given papers to sign without instructions, if asked a question a sigh was given, as if they were bothered to assist us. When asked if they could find a particular person, no real attempt was made to find them., then told they were busy, when clearly, no attempt to find them was ever made! That is not the first impression you want to make. When asking other employees specific questions, they too seemed bothered that you dared even ask them anything. Not all employees but certain ones stood out for their lack of friendliness, manners and rude behavior. If their lack of organization, communication and some of the employee behavior was fixed, this place would be top notch, but it isn't their yet.

I would not recommend for working here or putting a loved one here. They never paid employees promised COVID pay, they don’t pay correctly on paychecks. You bring up issues to management and regional management, nothing is fixed. The employees are lied to daily about multiple issues; they are owned by Tara Cares. A company that treats dedicated employees like this really could care less about the care of your loved one. It is so awful of conditions that residents actually choose to be homeless instead of live here.

I have worked here for a little over a year. The current management team is making positive changes in the best interests of our residents and staff. Our director of nurses has implemented policy and procedures to keep our residents happy and healthy. Our therapy team (PT/OT/ST) have continued making strides with rehab to home. We have a restorative program to keep our residents moving. We have stayed on top of the COVID pandemic with all hands on deck. Positive changes continue daily.

Not happy with this place at all. I would advise everyone that has loved ones here to keep a close eye on them and listen to what your loved one says. My very very close friend was here and they treated her miserable. Put her bed on the floor. Never let her talk to anyone on the phone because they would have to hold it for her. Stole her belongings. ( Cell phones) 2 of them. The 1 she went in there with and then we bought her a new one and it's no where to be found. Sad way to treat people that can't be around there family in times like this. Only time we could talk to her is when they would send her to the hospital and they never called family to let them know that they was doing that. Not a nice place at all

My opinion is quite short as far as employment goes. I was hired and first day received a Covid vaccine, doing my part to be healthy and keeping my community healthy. I had horrible side effects and loss several days due to a fever that wouldn’t go away. I could’ve taken Tylenol and went ahead but instead called mgmt so they were aware. In the few days off they supposedly got rid of my job abs laid me off due to budget cuts. They hold some 180+ clients and no Assistant Director of Nursing. The DON and I had gone over plans to improve employee retention, work-life balance, new therapies being used at better facilities to make Riverside a true competitor in the industry as well as better patient centered care. I can see why all the complaints, that was my main reason to apply there because I thought I could be of help. By looking at how many job vacancies they have it doesn’t seem to be a budget issue. Not sure why I was truly let go but I’ve got someone investigating through the state. I didn’t get to see how they treat their clients but hopefully better than they treat their mgmt team.
