As a primary care physician, Safe Harbor and Beacon of Hope have been helping my patients for several decades. Ford Kessler, the director, is an ex-marine who is comfortable with telling it like it is and doing his part to get the job done. When people let alcohol and drugs get ahead of them, it is often easier to put the blame somewhere else, such as a treatment center, than it is to get in the cold shower of recovery. If you or your loved one is having a problem with drugs or alcohol, please take the negative reviews on this site with a grain of salt. Our community is lucky to have Mr Kessler and his staff here to provide no-nonsense but compassionate help to people in this kind of trouble. Douwe Rienstra, MD

Horrible facility. All they care about is draining your wallet, which works great for them because they get all of the business from the high schools that force kids to undergo as many sessions as safe harbor recommends if they want to go back to school.

This is my first and only treatment experiance, in 2013 i used this center to change my life, and it did. Along with alot of work from me as well, I never felt alone and always had a great trustworthy staff members to guide me. Today i still maintain relationships that sprouted from this treatment center and am forever in debted to safe harbor recovery center. C-Price

This is a aweful facility, poor business management, unfriendly staff and don’t actually want to help people. They will however try to drain your wallet.
