Great Doctor .... This is my first time going for help and was nervous. I read some of the other reviews and they are so right. He and the staff are nice and don't make you feel weird about being there. I would recommend him to anyone that is in my situation. 5 years of using and not wanting to stop until now because I am getting scared.

As a Chaplain you have to meet people were they are and help guide them. I have been referring individuals to Dr. Afonso for many years now and he is a wonderful man. He is kind and caring and all the people I send his way speak highly of his character. He truly is there for his patients and cares for them. I would recommend Dr. Afonso so any of my Chaplains looking to refer people you are working with that need help with recovery. I would also recommend him to people looking to get back to recovery. Dr. Afonso you are help guide me through a very hard time in my life. Thank you for listening and taking time with me. I have been to so many doctors for help and you are the first I have felt listened to me. I recommend this doctor to anyone who is serious about wanting to change. It was easy to get to as it is right near the Toby Hospital in Wareham.
