The Oaks of Houma

The Oaks of Houma will be moving to a new location in the Summer/Fall of 2020.  We will be conveniently located at 1701 Polk Street in Houma, Louisiana.  The Oaks of Houma staff is looking forward to providing the same excellent care and services to our residents at our new home.  Please contact us as we get closer to this time period with any questions you may have concerning the move and/or our new location.

The Oaks of Houma is a health care community offering individuals a place to recover, rehabilitate and/or reside, depending on their specific needs.

For individuals who need short-term care after a surgery or hospital stay, we provide the skilled nursing services that help speed recovery and get you back home safely. For those who have had joint replacement surgery or a medical event such as a heart attack or stroke, our rehabilitation therapies help increase your mobility, strength, and ability to function. If you’ve reached a point where you need regular medical monitoring, we also provide long-term care in a homelike environment with plenty of activities to help nurture the body, mind and spirit. 

Whatever your healthcare needs, our staff is here to welcome you and help ensure you receive the care you need to reach your optimum level of health and well-being.

Not sure if the person still running this place is here but some staff are very sneaky treat and talk to your loved ones any type of way I was fired and put up as no rehire because I decided to tell my boss me and another co worker had a small argument he took it to administration where I never had a chance to talk was fired other girl wasn’t Ed over laundry and housekeeping he’s not to be trusted also I seen and heard a lot for myself they steal from the facility and I won’t recommend no one get put in this place

What a beautifully renovated facility!! I enjoyed meeting with the administrator to discuss patient care and left extremely impressed with his passion for caring for the elderly.

My mom was the for rehab after knee surgery the CNA man handle her to change her constantly touching her wound like she did not care. Told somebody early in the morning she needed to be changed they made her wait 4 hours later. The therapist over there would rather socialize with each other than doing their actual job. The food goes hole in the wall places serve better food than this place does. Would like to give them a negative star but google would not allow it

My mother in law is in here now excellent care, friendly staff and very good food. Her CNA Mylissa is excellent kind and caring ❤️

My grandma has been there not even a year and she has been on the floor already and the staff is not kind they treat the other people badly. Other than than that the food is great and the bingo games are fun.
