Nothing gets done because the doctor is terrible! I waited 6 weeks for a prescription refill, and the usual wait when you run out without needing a Dr order is 3-5 days! Don't bother ringing your bell, may as well get out of bed, if you can, and get what you need yourself... The fact that they mix highly active verbal and sometimes physical Alzheimer's and dementia patients with chronic pain and others suffering from other situations, causes distress to those of us who need a little peace and quiet. There is no place, but outside, to get away from the terrible ongoing noise which permeates every area of this place!! The food is so so. Artificial, canned, instant potatoes. No second helpings and the portion is not too large. Even the fish fillet is made of compressed fish! Fake Food!! Snacks consist of peanut butter and jelly, meat ( God knows what ) and cheese, sometimes there's a yogurt, or a little cottage cheese, or a little pudding! Ridiculous! A banana or Apple once in a while. The staff is nice most if the time, but slow to attend to you. I cannot tell you the frustration I feel trying to get the things done I need to especially in a timely manner. I cannot say I recommend this place until there are some big improvements! There is potential if more ppl are hired and time is used more productively. Until then, this is just another nursing facility, collecting government funding to house ppl without benefiting them! Waste in government funds that eventually leads to the Social demise of the clients!!!

My mother was there for 3 weeks back in 2015. It all started when she was a patient at Kaiser and a young women from Trinity Mission came to speak with her. She gave her positive feedback about the facility and ended up giving me a tour of the place. She told me that the bring in 5 turkeys for Thanksgiving and families all come for the big feast. There was a man playing the piano and she told me he is there daily and the living room and atmosphere looked sunny and pleasant. I looked at the rooms and she said they put up to 5 people in the rooms, but I passed that off because I didn't see more than 2 in each room. This was a mistake as I later learned. My mother later kept saying she wanted to go to Trinity Mission. We agreed on it after I discussed this with my oldest brother. We had.checked out other places. One was close to gang territory and the other was run by someone who was very rude to me when I called her back with a question and seemed more interested in how much money she was going to get by Medicare. After getting Mom settled in, they had the Thanksgiving dinner 2 days before the holiday date and Mom said I didn't miss out on much. As time went on, I found itvhsrdcto commu ihate with the aides. They were Nigerian and one refused to take my mother back to her room when she got tired. I had to go get a lady dressed in a business suit who went up and told her to take my mother back to her room. If I weren't there, Mom would have been in the wheelchair feeling miserable. I was working full-time at the time. My brother told me they had moved her into a room with 5 other people and there was a woman with a TV up full blast and Mom couldn't get any sleep. He told me this after she had been taken to Emergency at Kaiser 2 times for breathing problems. The last a d final time she was taken, I was told by the EMT that Mom was laying flat on her back when they arrived. He said that when she elevated, she was able to breathe better. The nurse at Ksiser said she was doing better since she was elevated. I called Trinity Mission and told she what the EMT said that she was to be kept elevated. The response was, "she can adjust the bed." I told her that they are to keep her bed elevated. She said okay. My mother's congestive heart failure worsened and she died days later. I wish now that I had filed a lawsuit. I was exhausted and the process would have been very time consuming. I would advise anyone to stay away from this place. They incompetent and not to be trusted. My mother died 3 weeks after being placed there. I forgot to mention that the doctor was very rude after Mom was taken to Emergency the 3rd time. I asked that she meet with our family.to discuss her condition, and she said she has a lot of patients and doesn't have time to meet with families.
