If you want to spill your guts to an intern who is about as as fresh as it gets, than this place is for you. I personally would like to have a professional give me life advice but apparently that isn't an option. I felt like I was telling my problems to a random friend and they were just writing stuff down. Not gonna happen again.

I’m a combat veteran and get free services from the VA, however I drive all the way from la crosse WI to receive care from vantage point, particularly with Leah Gray. She is by far the best therapist I have ever had & I have had 7 previous therapists! Leah returns calls pretty much within hours of me leaving private voicemails when I leave a message indicating I would like a call back. She is super knowledgeable and caring! All the staff, from the front desk to the billing area have taken care of me & have been too kind! I would definitely recommend Vantage Point to others. Thank you 🙏 😊

Very disorganized “intake” dept. I have left two messages over 3 weeks on scheduling an appointment with a particular therapist and to see if they take my insurance...no call back. The website is nicely laid out and looks promising. When I called back and told the receptionist that I left 2 messages over 3 weeks, she transferred me to a manager and the manager said that particular therapist was not accepting any new patients but will ask her and see if she can squeeze me in, she said she’d call me back. it has been two weeks and another no call back. Disappointing and very unprofessional. You put yourself out there as an organization to help people reach better places in their mental health...it seems some people working there do not take it seriously.

I have gone to this clinic for 4/5 years, and have seen 3 different therapists. The most recent one I had, was the reason I left the clinic. I don't doubt that he had good intentions, but I would find some of his comments inappropriate even if it were just a casual conversation with a friend. He frequently would interject personal stories that he sometimes admitted had nothing to do with what I was talking about- rather, about his own personal development. There were some traumas I wanted to work through with him, but he seemed to sympathize more with the antagonists in my life (especially young men, since he said he could "relate") than with me, so I never fully felt comfortable discussing what I had come to therapy for. I tried to adjust to his style for nearly a year, so I certainly tried to stay open minded. It is possible that part of the issue was that he did not understand what it is like to be a young woman- nor did his disposition indicate that he was seeking to understand. On one particular occasion, he asked if he could mention a story about something that happened in my life to a colleague, since he thought it may bring the potential for a "business opportunity". I consented, but looking back, that is relatively unprofessional, especially because I came in that day very upset. I felt disappointed in myself that I couldn't verbalize to him that I thought his behavior was unprofessional, and it sunk me deeper into the intial reason I have been seeking help. After finalizing my decision that this therapist was not working for me, I tried to switch therapists on several different occasions, but each time no one from intake was in the office. I understand that this is likely happenstance, but I was so exhausted trying to find quality care that I have since relocated elsewhere for therapy. I would encourage those I know to do the same.
